OOTD: A Not So Casual Casual Friday

My company has a business casual attire policy at all times. You don't know how much I envy those of you that can wear jeans to work or have casual Fridays! Trust me when I say I was ecstatic to see that my company sponsored a charity event where anyone who donates are allowed to wear jeans on the specific day.  There have been 2 of these events in the last few months and I hope there'll be more in the future.  I figured I'll show you my outfits since I hardly get to dress up this way. (I feel like I'm pulling out an inner Wendy from WendysLookBook.)

OOTD: Summer Neutrals with a Splash of Brights

A little late post for summer outfits, but here's a "latergram" of one of my favorite work outfits for summer time.  If you've read my "About Me", you know how much I love the color white and there's no better time to wear white than during the sunny weather.

Fall Fashion Work Outfits

Well it's been a while since I've uploaded OOTD's, here's a few that I've been putting together for my Fall Work Fashion.

Playing with Scarves
Fall is the perfect time to be playing around with scarves. It's one of the main staples in my wardrobe. I think it's the best accessory to dress up any outfit.

  • Classic V-neck Gray Sweater
  • Banana Republic Wide Leg Pants
  • H&M Floral Scarf
  • Naturalizer Navy Blue Pumps
Cardigans and Skinny Belts
The weather might be getting cooler but it's not the time for jackets and coats but you can warm up with cardigans. Pair it with skinny belts to dress it up or wear it alone for a more casual look.

Local Jewelry Boutique Filigree Earrings
  • American Eagle Boyfriend Cardigan
  • Express Cowlneck Sheath Dress
  • Naturalizer Navy Blue Pumps
  • Simple Skinny Black Belt
White A-line Dress
This was my birthday outfit. I love the dress, it's a the perfect length for work. The bead necklace is actually attached to the dress. I added the belt because A-line dresses remind me of maternity clothing. =P
OOTD #3
OOTD #3
  • Victoria's Secret Ruched Cardigan
  • White Beaded Chiffon Dress
  • Steve Madden Kortship Flats in Natural
  • H&M Wide Hook Belt
Work Chic and Wide Leg Trousers
Work chic outfits, no problem just wearing a slim fitting t-shirt. I think skinny pants will still be great for the fall season, but its alter ego, the wide leg pants, offer a warmer alternative.

  • H&M Floral Spring Scarf
Blazer Chic
If you walk into any clothing store nowadays, there's nothing but blazers! H&M is currently offering some really nice and reasonably prices ones too. The elbow patches bring back the 70s look. =)

Fall is orange and red season! Gold is also a nice accent color. I just got this Rebecca Minkoff Je'taime Cherish Tote. Super soft leather! I can't wait to check out more of her bags.

Lanvin for H&M 2010

The Lanvin for H&M 2010 collection is here! Well almost =)  It'll be launching on Nov 20 in the United States at select H&M stores. Many of the NY H&M's are carrying the new line.

I'm not that crazy about the clothes but I definitely want to get my hands on these!

These lippies look so cute! And they would be selling for $9.95. But like their Garden collection, I can see people buying them and eBaying it for crazy prices. =(

Hopefully they'll still be available by the time I try to get my hands on them.

OOTD - Outfit of the Day - Fall Work Apparel #3

Haha, I loved the outfit I put together today but didn't have the time to snap a picture of myself during the day, so I snapped it in the office bathroom again. ^_^ good thing nobody came in.

OOTD #3
  • American Eagle Cardigan
  • H&M White Tank Top
  • Gap Tulip Wrap Skirt (the only problem with this skirt is the slit is in the middle. I had to be very cautious about taking big steps, similar here)
  • White Mountain Stinger Boots (available here for $59.95) - I got these boots last year and I love them! So comfy and stylish to walk in. I can wear these shopping all day long.
  • Gap Gray Trench coat - got it at the Gap outlet for like $30 =) different color here
  • Bag from those Japanese/Korean online websites, I don't remember where I got it.

OOTD - Outfit of the Day - Fall Work Apparel

Here's a quick post of my OOTD. =)

Work Outfit for Fall - H&M Dress $19.95, Express Long Cardigan, Gap Sweater Tights
Inspired by Fuzkittie, apparently she got this dress too, saw it on her facebook page. I've been visiting H&M way too much lately! Haha, when I saw this dress, I thought it was just way too cute, sort of peasant/boho top with a ruffle skirt hem. At first I thought this would be part of my casual wear, but when I saw fuz upload a pictured of it with a cardigan, I was totally inspired. =)  Perfect for fall weather and great for work. The only problem I have is that I'm a little too tall (5'5") so the dress comes a little short, but the tights help cover up and make it work-suitable.

Update! H&M just put this dress on sale! It's only $10 now! Maybe I should get a dupe. Hahaha..

H&M and Japanese/Korean Fashion Jewelry Haul

Just did some fashion jewelry shopping and I want to post this up before they're gone from the stores. This past week I've been an H&M shopaholic, probably been to like 5 different stores searching for this sweater in my size and ended up picking items from every store! >.<  Shopaholic! I couldn't agree more, but I can't help myself! Definitely LOVE LOVE H&M's collection this fall.

Here's 2 pieces that I picked up from H&M, so cute!

Got this set of rings because I thought that the bow ring was just too adorable! The whole ring set (6 rings in set) is $5.95. I would have bought the bow ring itself for that price. The other rings I'm not too crazy about, the one with the big rhinestone seems fall apart easily because the other sets at H&M were all missing the rhinestone. This set comes in 3 sizes, I got size Small and I'm usually a size 6-7 in ring size.

H&M Silver Rings Set $5.95
Super cute bow with dangling pearl ring

This "LOVE" ring is pretty cute too.
This set of turquoise dangly bangles is also very pretty! I love the fact that they are very versatile. I can wear all of them or just a few to accentuate my outfits. H&M sold this set of 20 bangles for $5.95 as well. Comes in 2 sizes, XS/S and M?L. My wrists are really narrow and most bangles don't fit me. These were a nice fit but still a little big for me. As long as they don't fly out, I'm okay, haha. The dangly pieces also are very fragile. Haha, I lost 1 piece after wearing the bangles out for an hour.
H&M Turquoise/Silver Bangles Set of 20 $5.95

Also picked this really cute musical note pendant necklace up in a fashion jewelry store called "Hottie" that's located in the St. Marks Place area in NYC. It's a Japanese fashion jewelry store that sells Japanese/Korean style jewelry and accessories. Really cute store! I wanted to buy everything. =P  There's musical note pendant with rhinestones (probably cubic zirconium) on a sparkly silver necklace. It's $8.95.

Pendant necklace on me. So cute!

That's it for the fashion jewelry that I picked up, H&M clothing haul to be coming soon!
