October! So many sales!!! I have been holding back (somewhat) the whole year, but this month, everything is pretty much out the door.
Sephora had a true Friends and Family sale where coupon codes were only offered to those who recieved a code from a sales associate. Very happy that one of Youtube guru, Hollyannaeree's subscribers were offering her other subbies with unique codes and I was one of the lucky ones. =)
I realized I had to take advantage of it way before the normal VIB sale starts because my wishlist items will just be flying out of my shopping cart! (Not that I didn't spend a fortune during this weekend's VIB sale. Haul to come when those purchases finally come in!).

All my goodies from Sephora's friends and family. I picked up a bunch sets and kits. The Sephora Favorites Superstars set ($75 with $200+ value), a great set that included items that I really wanted to try: the
Smashbox Camera Ready BB cream,
Origins GinZing Eye Cream and a
NARS Sheer lipstick in Dolce Vita. I restocked on my staple moisturizer First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (reviewed
here) in the
Ultra Repair Head to Toe Hydration Kit at $42. Also still looking for a new eye cream and decided to pick up the
Shiseido Youthful Eyes Anti-Wrinkles Set ($55), not sure if I really like it though, the cream is soooo thick!!

Of course I jumped and grab the
NARS Guy Bourdin Limited Edition One Night Stand Blush Palette retails at $65 with a $145 value of 6 almost full size blushes. It includes NARS best selling cult favorite Orgasm and Deep Throat as well as 3 shades that are limited edition and exclusive to this palette. Surprisingly this palette is still available at Sephora, probably because of all the controversy the Guy Bourdin theme is causing. Personally I think we should just be supporting all the hardwork behind the NARS brand and how Francois Nars curated this beautiful palette and not be clouded with what might be a controversial inspiration that he had.
Next up my Bobbi Brown haul! I'm very much in love with my Bobbi Brown concealer and it's definitely a staple that I haven't found a replacement for but never tried any of their color cosmetics. I took advantage of the Bobbi Brown voucher at Gilt that I tweeted about. The voucher is $30 off $80 purchase, that's almost a 38% discount. So I picked up some of their limited edition palettes. The
Hot Cocoa Palette retails at $80 and is limited only at Bobbi Brown online currently sold out. It comes with 8 beautifully wearable eyeshadows and blush. The
Date Night Lip & Eye Palette is $30 and includes 3 shadows with 3 lip colors, perfectly purse-friendly. I also wanted to try the Bobbi Brown
corrector in Light Bisque and
Face Touch Up stick in Warm Sand, excited to give these popular basics a try.
Ulta didn't really have a sale, but they had a great gift with purchase. My skin started acting up again and I wanted to try Raeview's new recommendation from Juice Beauty. Took advantage to get this beautiful Benefits gift!

The
Juice Beauty Organics to Clear Skin kit is $39 (for $55 value) and includes a cleanser, peel and serum. Hopefully it will work! I also picked up the Bare Minerals Touch Up to Go kit to make up for a $50 purchase for free shipping. I love their Mineral Veil so hoping the pressed powder version would be useful for touch ups on the go. But I think I find the little clear makeup pouch for useful. =)
